In Science this week, Year 2 have been working hard investigating materials. They worked together outside and around the school to find different objects that were made from a variety of different materials. They recorded their observations.
The Science National curriculum states that pupils should be taught to identify and compare the suitability of a variety of everyday materials, including wood, metal, plastic, glass, brick, rock, paper and cardboard for particular uses.
Year 2 are certainly doing that!
