This week, the Pupil Ambassadors had their second meeting of the term. They discussed two things: playground equipment and the theme for February.
Nee-Ayiku, our Head-Boy, has been thinking about playground games and what the children should do to stay active. He posed this question to the team and asked them to find out from their classes what they would like to have in the playground. But before this happened, the Pupil Ambassadors started a list of their own!
During class assembly, the Pupil Ambassadors completed a survey of the the kinds of things the children would like in the playground (obviously within reason – a swimming pool and roller blade park are still not feasible!) The information will be shared and discussed at the next Pupil Ambassador meeting.
The children also spent some of the assembly reminding children of the theme for February which is ‘Talk about Climate Change‘. St Michael’s will be encouraging everyone to research and discuss Climate Change. What is it? What can be done? How can we play our part?
