The sun came out along with our super St Michael’s athletes – we definitely have some Olympians within our school!
With the Covid restrictions still in place, we held our annual sports day in the playground. This did not dampen the spirits of our Reception, Y1’s or Y2’s. As usual, the children were excited and enthusiastic to run, jump, throw and cheer on their classmates!
This year, the children had the opportunity to take part in a football shoot out, javelin, bean bag throws, golf skills and the traditional much loved egg and spoon race. As always, the biggest cheers came during the individual sprints and relays – the children pushed themselves to the limit and showed their super speed and their super smiles!
Fruit break – time to refresh and replenish! 
Our nursery children had their sports day too – just watch them go!
A great time was had by all – roll on Thursday for the juniors! Restrictions cannot stop our fun!
