Year 4 have been producing some amazing writing. It is a ‘short burst’ writing, based on a picture.
As a class the children worked to thought shower problem scenarios that might occur in this setting. Children had to focus on describing the scene and the action leading up to the problem.
They were reminded to use expanded noun phrases and powerful verbs and to consider the effect of each sentence on the pace and mood of their writing.
