Today was the day we had been waiting for; the first day of our brand new nursery at St Michael’s. We are sure that the children were just as excited as we were, because there was no stopping them once they got through the doors.
First of all, these children left their parents and carers at the front gate and bravely walked into their class for their first day. There was not a tear in sight, well not from the children anyway!
Then the day began, and the fun did not stop.
All the children had opportunities to make new friends, take turns and share; whilst exploring all the delights that the nursery had to offer.
The children were very vocal about their first day. Here are a few of the comments made:
I like the quiet area as I like to be quiet. – Ava
