This term we have been learning all about Islam and it has been very interesting for all of us!
Now we don’t know if you know this, but we are a very diverse in the Tremendous Twos. We all come from different backgrounds, but we are still one big family, and in our family we have people who follow Islam! We had a first hand perspective from them and learnt even more than we could imagine.
For example, did you know that Muslims pray facing Mecca in the east? Or did you know that Muslims pray 5 times a day? We were finding out so many interesting things! I bet you didn’t know that the crescent moon and star symbol for Islam is called the Hilal! Anyway, we’re done showing off our knowledge for now. Instead, we will give you a break from our big brains and let you have a look at some of the work and things we got up to in RE this term!
One of our very own members, was kind enough to bring some items from home and we enjoyed seeing them in person!
