Today, we worked with our partners to create sentences using fronted adverbial phrases, drawing inspiration from our book Black Dog. We learnt that fronted adverbials are words, phrases, or clauses placed before the main clause of a sentence. These adverbials modify the verb or main clause by describing elements such as time, frequency, manner, place, or possibility. We also made sure to remember the important rule of placing a comma after the fronted adverbial.
