The rain tried to hamper our annual sports day plans for Years 1 to 6, however we managed to brave the heat on a rescheduled date. With a change of venue, change of time and date the children showed their resilience and persevered demonstrating all our school values throughout the afternoon.
After an Olympic parade on the journey to Catford Cyphers Ground, the games began!
Shot put, tug of war, relay races, hurdles, the traditional egg and spoon race as well as a sack race were on the agenda and what fun was had!
Thank you to all the parents who attended and encouraged our young athletes. We are already looking forward to next year.
