What an afternoon! St Michael’s had the awesome opportunity to be a very active and vocal audience for the DCP drumming showcase to parents.
The children have obviously been working hard and were eager to share their amazing skills with their visiting family and the school community. The children have had to learn intricate drum patterns and keep in time to the songs and with each other – it was very impressive.
Children were drumming to two songs by Imagine Dragons – Believer and Bones. The pictures hardly do it justice – you should have heard the beat!
The St Michael’s audience gave them amazing vocal backing and claps of support. Well done to the drummers for staying focused and on time, no easy task with a very full hall.
