On Sunday 1st October, our amazing school choir, led by Mrs Johnson, performed in St Michael’s and All Angels Church. They sang to celebrate Michaelmas and gave a wonderful performance; well done choir! It was a lovely service conducted by Bishop Christopher and Rev Ifeanyi.
Michaelmas is called the Feast of the Archangels, the Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, and the Feast of St. Michael and all angels. It is celebrated by the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches and was first observed in Europe.
