On Wednesday 7th June, The infants (Reception, Year 1, Year 2) travelled to Broadstairs to spend the day in the sand at Joss Bay. Linked to a variety of this term’s topics, the children enjoyed exploring the beach, looking at different sea creatures, plants and of course splashing around in the sea!
We found a great spot on the beach and it was time to have some fun!
The water was freezing, but we couldn’t stop these children!
We had to go for a walk to find some treasures!
We loved eating our packed lunches on the beach. Watch out for those seagulls!!!
Then back up for some more fun!
Sadly, it was time to go but what a day it was! It sure was a lot quieter on the way back!
