It has been a lovely start to the week as St Michael’s welcomed back a former pupil Remi. Remi, who now attends Sedgehill Academy, wants to teach young children how to be kind and thought that the best way would be to show kindness.
Encouraged by the staff at SHA, he also thought about ways to give back to his community; this led to Remi’s visit on Monday where he donated a bag of brand new basketballs to our school!
Remi has promoted two of the core values, kindness and integrity, from Sedgehill Academy as well as continuing to be a courageous advocate.
Remi is passionate about basketball and hopes that the new basketballs will encourage young children to learn to play basketball and enjoy sport.
It was a pleasure to have Remi donate the basketballs in assembly and display a mature and confident nature – St Michael’s and Sedgehill are very proud of him!
