Our theme this term has been all things to do with Dinosaurs. We have had lots of fun reading Doctorsaurus by Emi Lou May which is about a doctor dinosaur who treats many ailments including a constipated Brontosaurus who is given prunes to help unblock his tummy. This results in fifty dung beetles being invited for a poop tea party!
It’s a very fun story and the children learnt all about dung beetles and the important job they do. The children also pretended to be doctors and made paper plate dinosaurs.
For children’s mental health week we have been reading Feel-O-Saur by Lezlie Evans. We have been learning about different feelings and emotions and the things that make us happy, sad, angry or scared.
