Year 4 were very busy in the last week of term. We have been learning about symbolism in the Christmas story and exploring significant Christmas symbols. We designed our own symbols to show the importance of Jesus’s birth and made our own Christingles. A Christingle is an important symbol of God’s love for us, God’s creation on earth and Jesus as a gift from God to save us from our sins – Jesus the light of the world.
We had a lot of fun in the process!
