Year 2 went to the South London Botanical Institute to learn more about ‘Living things and their habitats’, which was linked to our Science topic. The children had a brilliant day looking at micro habitats in the gardens, making food chains in the library and using microscopes to look how mold, bacteria and insects help fruit decompose.
