This morning our Reception class had their first Stay and Play session of the year and what a turn out it was. All the children enjoyed having new adults in their classroom and to show off all of their amazing learning. Some of the children had taken on the role of being a ‘tour guide’ and did an exceptional job of showing the adults around the classroom!
It is always wonderful to have parents involved in our school, and our Stay and Play sessions offer parents not only an insight to their child’s learning experience, but also creates an opportunity for engagement and learning which can foster positive attitudes towards a love of learning.
As much as the children were super excited and had so much fun, I think it is clear to see that the grown-up’s themselves had a great time and really enjoyed themselves too!
A big thank you to all the grown-ups who came and shared this wonderful experience with the children and us as a community, and for the lovely feedback that we have received so far.
We are now able to share the date for our next session but please bear in mind the following points:
- You must book via the office to secure your place as places are on a first come, first served basis.
- We are only able to allow the allocated number of spaces. This is for health and safety reasons therefore please book your space to avoid disappointment.
- When booking, spaces are allocated by the number of persons attending on the day so if two adults from the same family would like to attend, this will require booking a space for each person
The date of our next session is Thursday 19th January 2023 from 8.45 – 9.30am. Please do book in advance to avoid disappointment!
Thank you once again and we look forward to you joining us on our next Stay and Play session!
