The children in Year 2 spent the morning creating two pieces of art. The first was creating a 2D picture, named “We’ve got the whole world in our hands.” This involved colouring in a globe template with crayons. Next, drawing around their hands, cutting out and the hands and adding details. After, we glued the globe on top of the hands, bent the fingers over to give a cradling affect. Finally we sprinkled white paint to create stars. The next piece was called, ‘Holding onto Time’! This gave the children the opportunity to decorate their own clock face.
The children had a great time personalising their own clocks whilst, at the same time, practising how to tell time during the holidays. Well done!
