We have been focusing on the story ‘The Gigantic Turnip’ with a range of activities from retelling the story to creating our own version of the story.
With all the hard work and effort that has been put into our work, we felt it was only right to fully immerse ourselves by making our very own turnip soup.
First of all we had a safety lesson before having to cut up all the vegetables. We had sweet potatoes, carrots, onions, turnips and peppers. We even made dumplings!
We enjoyed eating the soup and sharing our likes and dislikes with each other.
Yummy!
