For the last three years, a group of our pupils have been given the chance to go on a surfing trip and experience the ocean. This fantastic opportunity has been made possible with the help of the charity ‘City Kids Surfing’, a group of highly motivated professionals with a shared passion for the ocean, what it means to protect it and the art of surfing here in the UK. Volvo took an interest in this charity’s mission to get inner city London children to experience the ocean and to learn to surf, so they used St Michael’s children to create an advertisement.
