On Monday 16th May, Year 1 visited Dacres Wood Nature Reserve to learn more about plants and trees. This linked to their current topic of plants and the national curriculum objective to be able to identify and describe the basic structure of a variety of common flowering plants, including trees.
The children had an amazing time exploring the outdoors!
The children explored the woods and made observations about what they could hear and see.
