The Year 6 cohort are still enjoying a range of activities for the second full day. The day continued with problem solving and the zip-wire.
Making a square
A firm PGL favourite is the zip wire. It can really take a lot of inner strength and team encouragement. As always, safety is the first priority.
Support and help others We did it! How do we look? I don’t know if I can do it! I am not sure about this?
For some, from the ground looking up, it seems like an impossible task, but with strength and perseverance and lots of team support – you can achieve!
Encouragement is the key. Being encouraged to have a go, even if you think you cannot get through. They dug in, they held on – we are SO proud of them. Here is what one of them said:
“How did you feel at first? “
“Scared.”
“How did you feel when you did it? “
“Excited!”
The evening activity ‘Splash’ is once again all about teamwork. Can your team create a protective container for a water balloon so that when the balloon is dropped from a height it does not break? You can only use the equipment given and then work as a team to devise the best protection for your precious water balloon.
First it was morning, then it was evening – the second day.
